Terms of Service
These terms govern a business’s use of StreamNav. They are written for a commercial relationship between companies, not for consumers, and they assume the person accepting them can bind the business they act for.
Who may agree to this
StreamNav is offered to businesses. By opening an account or using the platform you confirm that you are acting for a business, that you are old enough to enter a contract where you live, and that you have authority to bind that business to these terms. If you do not have that authority, do not accept them.
Accounts, administrators and staff
An account belongs to the business named on it, not to the individual who created it. The business is responsible for keeping credentials secure, for who it grants access to, and for everything done under its account.
An organization administrator may invite staff and grant them roles and permissions. Those grants are the administrator’s decision and their consequences are the business’s responsibility. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised.
What StreamNav provides
StreamNav is streaming technology and operational infrastructure. Depending on what a customer has bought, that can include branded playback surfaces and applications, customer and organization management, entitlements, connection-capacity controls, support tooling, billing integrations and related operational tooling.
StreamNav does not supply media. It provides no channels, films, series, music or other content, holds no catalogue, and grants no content licence of any kind.
Content rights are the customer’s responsibility
You may use StreamNav only with media, metadata, trademarks, images, applications, streams, channels and other materials that you own or are legally authorized to use, in each territory where you make them available.
StreamNav does not grant content licences and does not verify or guarantee your underlying media rights. Securing every required right, licence, permission and territorial authority — and keeping them current — is yours to do. Where this site or the product refers to channels, films, series or media libraries, it means content you already have the right to distribute.
Using StreamNav with material you are not authorized to distribute is a breach of these terms.
Beta, pilot and preview features
Some capabilities are offered as beta, pilot, preview or “coming soon”. They may change, may not work as described, and may be withdrawn. They are provided as they stand, without warranty, and should not be relied on for anything you cannot afford to have change. Anything described on the public website as coming soon is not yet available and is not promised by a date.
Your configuration and integrations
You are responsible for how you configure StreamNav, for the accuracy of what you put into it, for the domains and branding you use, and for any third-party service you connect to it. Where an integration needs credentials, keeping those credentials safe is yours to do.
Capacity and entitlements
Connection capacity and entitlements are enforced by the platform. Attempts to exceed purchased capacity may be refused, and circumventing those limits is a breach of these terms and of the Acceptable Use Policy.
Capacity is tied to your organization and does not transfer to another.
Third-party services
StreamNav depends on third-party providers and may interoperate with services you choose. Those services are governed by their own terms, and StreamNav is not responsible for their acts, omissions or availability.
Availability, maintenance and suspension
StreamNav aims to keep the platform available and will carry out maintenance, sometimes with notice and sometimes urgently. Access may be suspended where it is necessary to protect the platform or another customer, to stop abuse, to comply with law, or where an account is materially overdue.
Either party may end the agreement in accordance with the Subscription and Billing Terms.
Confidentiality
Each party may learn non-public information about the other. Each will use it only for the purpose of the relationship, protect it with reasonable care, and not disclose it, except where a law or court requires disclosure or where the information is already public through no fault of the receiving party.
Intellectual property
StreamNav’s. The platform, its software, interfaces, documentation and the StreamNav name, emblem and wordmark belong to StreamNav and its licensors. Use of the marks is governed by the Trademark Guidelines. Nothing here transfers ownership.
Yours. Your branding, your content and your customer data remain yours outright, and survive the end of the agreement. You grant StreamNav a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, transmit and display those materials solely to provide the service to you and for no other purpose. That licence ends when the agreement does, except where a copy must be retained by law.
Feedback. If you suggest an improvement, StreamNav may use it without obligation or payment. This does not give StreamNav any right in your content, your branding or your confidential information.
Disclaimers
Except where the law does not allow it to be excluded, the platform is provided as it stands and as available, without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
StreamNav does not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, and gives no warranty about media a customer distributes or the rights a customer holds in it.
Limitation of liability
Neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill or data, however caused.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify StreamNav against claims arising from your content, your media rights or lack of them, your use of the platform in breach of these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, and your breach of law. StreamNav will tell you promptly of any such claim and let you control the defence, and will not settle in a way that admits fault on your behalf without your agreement.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated. The revision date at the top will change, and a material change will be notified to account administrators before it takes effect. Continuing to use the platform after that point means the updated terms apply.
