Acceptable Use Policy
This policy applies to business customers, resale owners, administrators, staff, the integrations they connect and the assets they submit — and, through their own terms, to the end users of the services they operate. It describes only enforcement StreamNav can actually carry out.
Who this applies to
Everyone who uses StreamNav: the business holding the account, its resale owners, administrators and staff, anything automated they connect, and the material they upload.
A customer is responsible for their own end users. StreamNav does not have a direct relationship with them and cannot police an individual viewer of a customer’s service; the customer must carry equivalent rules into their own terms and enforce them.
Content and rights
- Do not infringe copyright or any other intellectual property right.
- Do not distribute media you are not authorized to distribute, in any territory where you make it available.
- Do not retransmit channels, streams or broadcasts without authority.
- Do not upload branding, artwork, metadata or applications you do not hold the rights to.
- Do not distribute material that is unlawful in the territory it reaches.
Accounts, access and payment
- Do not share credentials outside your organization, or sell or transfer access outside an authorized arrangement.
- Do not circumvent connection limits, capacity controls, entitlement checks, device restrictions, geographic restrictions or any other control the platform enforces.
- Do not commit payment fraud, use a payment method you are not entitled to use, or abuse billing processes.
- Do not misrepresent who you are or which organization you act for.
Security and integrity
- Do not distribute malware, run phishing, or harvest credentials.
- Do not scrape, enumerate or bulk-extract data you were not given access to.
- Do not probe, scan or test the security of the platform without written authorization.
- Do not attempt to access another organization’s data.
- Do not interfere with availability — no denial of service, no deliberate overloading, no automation designed to exhaust capacity or manipulate the service.
Found a vulnerability? Report it through the contact route rather than exploring it further. Good-faith reports are welcomed.
Conduct
- No harassment, threats, hate speech or doxing, including toward StreamNav staff in support conversations.
- No abusive or deliberately obstructive conduct in support channels.
- No impersonation of StreamNav, of another business, or of a person.
- No branding designed to deceive customers about who operates a service.
Reporting a problem
Reports go to legal@streamnav.co. Copyright complaints follow the Copyright Policy, which sets out what a notice must contain.
Include enough detail to identify the service and the behaviour, and when it was observed. StreamNav has no public reporting button, no in-product report flow and no blocking tools — those belong to consumer platforms and StreamNav has not built them.
How reports are handled
Reports are reviewed by people. There is no automated moderation system and no moderation team; StreamNav does not review customer media, and it has no catalogue to review.
What StreamNav can do is inspect its own operational records — connection, admission, capacity, authentication and audit events — contact the responsible customer, require an explanation, and act on the account.
Enforcement
Depending on severity and history, StreamNav may: ask for an explanation; require a change within a stated period; disable a specific asset or capability under its control; suspend a service or an account; or terminate the agreement.
Urgent action may be taken first and explained afterwards where there is a risk to the platform, to another customer, or of continuing unlawful activity. StreamNav will act proportionately and prefers correction to termination.
Records
StreamNav retains records of reports and the action taken, so a decision can be reconstructed later. Audit records of administrative action are append-only. These records may be disclosed where a law or court requires it.
Disagreeing with a decision
If your account or service is suspended and you believe it was wrong, write to legal@streamnav.co and set out why. A person will look again. There is no automated appeal process.
Changes
This policy may be updated, with the revision date changed accordingly. Conduct that was already prohibited does not become acceptable because the wording changed.
